Hi Natalie, I recommend freezing and then providing baking instructions. Defrost in the refrigerator overnight before baking, and it may take a few more minutes if you cook it straight from chilled.

Been making them for years. I would like to make the stuffed shells as gifts. Do you recommend baking and then freezing? If so, what are cooking instructions from frozen? Or better to prep and freeze before baking? Again, what would be baking instructions from frozen?

I add sautéed onions and mushrooms to the filling mixture. My kids love to take the leftovers to school for lunch. Thank you for your recipes, we enjoy so many of them. They help keep our dinners new and fresh.

I like to mix up the sauces to keep it fresh- blending roasted red pepper into marinara or a butternut sauce.

On my part, the filling came out too garlicky for my liking, and it lacked salt. But besides those errors, it was delicious! Will be making again!

I put my shells in marinara and sprinkle cheeses on top.
